Do you ever have those days where you are craving something sweet but you know you should have dinner and get all your "nutrients"?
I am a sucker for dessert and anything sweet so I like to switch out a savory dinner for something sweet like oatmeal or pancakes on occasion. Well, that usually doesn't get all my veggies, fruit and protein in so I wanted to create a dish that could satisfy all of the categories.
After some deep meditation on the subject....I came up ...
So I wanted to do a recipe on making seitan....and I did...but seitan isn't pretty to photograph or display unless you do something with it.
So....Mini Seitan Pita Pizzas were produced on a whim! These guys are super delicious, quick and for sure would be a party favorite. They were definitely a favorite when I made them at my Mom's. Grandma was sooooooo surprised that these were all vegan and the seitan was not "meat".
But back to the original recipe....Seitan.
